A: Integrity is the key to a successful leader. Some of the other traits are good to have, but integrity is the foundation that a leader must stand upon, in order to effectively carry out the duties of an elected office. At the end of the day an individual that can maintain their integrity, can make the hard right decision over the easy wrong one.
Whether a candidate is running for City Council, Mayor, State Legislature, Governor, Congress or President there are some traits or qualifications we look for as a society. As Whigs, what are the traits that you look for in a candidate for any of these offices?Take the survey
