Q: Please elaborate on your choice and position...
A: The Economy, Climate Change, Healthcare, Electoral Reform , Education, Campaign Finance Reform, Term Limits,  Lack of Good Candidate choices, Corruption in Government,  Gerrymandering, Gun Control, Polarization in Politics, Equal Rights, Energy, Independence, Foreign Policy, everything. All of these issues are extremely important. Since November 2016, this country has been involved in utter chaos, at the verge of wars across the planet, and the economy going to be placed on borders of 1929 collapse. Yes, I have concerns

I have tried, REPEATEDLY, to actually TALK to someone on the phone. I have sent emails to the National Chairman, Washington State and Oregon State chairs/representatives to discuss the party and how I could get involved in the State of Idaho. These emails have fallen on deaf ears.

I really believe in the foundation of the Whig party. I also believe that it could possibly put a wedge into this state’s ultra-conservative party stance in Boise, ID.

But it is REALLY TICKING ME OFF that no one can answer a legitimate email. I am not happy. If you’re going to work on communication, that is a good place to start!

Q: How often do you vote?
    A: Every election, every year.

    How often do you vote?

Are you a cafeteria voter? Do you pick and chose what to vote in? Or do you vote in everything from county dog catcher to President of the United States?

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.  (Theodore Roosevelt)

mwplogoblog.pngThank you for your interest in The Modern Whigs of America! By joining one of the fastest-growing independent political movements in the country, you'll give us the opportunity to keep you informed not only of our activities, but also many of the key political issues and policy questions of the day. We think you'll quickly find us both a great platform for civic action and an invaluable informational resource.

After completing the signup form you'll be redirected to our Donate page. While we rely primarily on the volunteer efforts of our members and leadership to achieve our goals, we do need some funds to accomplish some of the basic tasks every political organization needs to do. We hope you can make a small contribution (the price of a cheeseburger at your local restaurant, or a takeout pizza on a Friday night) to support our initiatives.

Once again, thank you, and we look forward to working with you to make our country, and our world, a better place -- for all of us.
